The agency of Suzy (30), a former member of miss A, will take legal action against marriage rumors.
The agency Management Soop stated, "Recently, we have confirmed malicious posts, speculative rumors, and defamatory comments. This conduct seriously damages our reputation, and we plan to take strong legal action without any agreement or leniency," adding, "We will respond firmly to all illegal activities and do our best to protect our rights."
The previous day, Kim Jang-kyun, the CEO of Soop, also warned on Instagram, "If you get caught spreading rumors, you'll be in trouble."
Online, rumors circulated that "Suzy and Kim Byeong-hoon (38), the CEO of APR, are set to marry" and "An announcement will be made soon." The two are reportedly strangers.
Kim founded APRILSKIN (currently APR) during his college years in 2014. He created a sensation in the beauty device market with MediCube Age-R, and the company now ranks first in market capitalization in the cosmetics industry.
APR's market capitalization is approximately 8.1599 trillion won, and Kim holds about 2.5 trillion won. Bloomberg News reported earlier this month that Kim was named a billionaire in his 30s.
Suzy is set to release the Netflix series Genie, Make A Wish on Oct. 3. She is currently busy filming Disney+'s Illusion.
