Girls' Generation member Sunny is taking meaningful steps by participating in a special exhibition on the climate crisis through her voice.
A2O Entertainment announced on the 29th that "Sunny will take part as an audio guide in the special exhibition on the climate crisis 'On the Day the Waiting Ends,' which will be held at the Gyeonggi Museum of Modern Art until October 26."
'On the Day the Waiting Ends' is an exhibition planned to share empathy and contemplation through art in an era of significant changes due to the climate crisis and global warming. Inspired by the late poet Kim Hyung-young's poem of the same name, this exhibition features works that indirectly and metaphorically address themes related to 'renewable energy' aimed at resolving fossil fuel depletion and global warming issues.
Sunny, who is participating as an audio guide, will introduce various works that view the climate disaster induced by humans from the perspective of nature. As this is a meaningful exhibition dealing with the climate crisis, Sunny participated with a donation of her talents. Sunny's calm yet profound commentary and voice are expected to enhance the immersion and resonance of the exhibition.
Sunny is a member of Girls' Generation, which celebrates its 18th anniversary this year, and a versatile artist who has been active across genres such as music, broadcasting, and musicals. She has produced numerous hit songs as part of Girls' Generation, leading the K-pop craze not just in Korea but globally, and has continued a broad solo career with her versatile talents along with her bright and approachable charm.
