Actor Yoo Jeong-hoo has been cast in 'Men of the Harem'.
According to OSEN's coverage on the 29th, Yoo Jeong-hoo will appear in the new drama 'Men of the Harem' (written by Hwang Jin-young, directed by Lee Eung-bok) as his next project.
In this regard, his agency Artist Company stated to OSEN, "It's a grateful situation where we are positively discussing his participation."
'Men of the Harem' is a romance fantasy that portrays the story of Empress Lathil of the Tarium Empire who brings in male concubines to protect the empire, based on the web novel of the same name. Suzy will star as Empress Lathil, and Yoo Jeong-hoo will play one of the concubines that Lathil brings in. However, details about his specific role have not been disclosed.
The production will be helmed by director Lee Eung-bok, known for his work on 'Descendants of the Sun', 'Goblin', 'Mr. Sunshine', and 'Sweet Home'. The script is written by Hwang Jin-young, the writer of the drama 'Lovers', and produced by Studio Dragon. 'Men of the Harem' is expected to begin filming early next year after casting is completed.
Yoo Jeong-hoo debuted in 2022 with the web drama 'Bad Girl Friend' and has since appeared in 'New Romance Playlist', 'Cheongdam International High School', 'Sassy Durian', and 'The Suspicious Girl'.
