Actress Blake Lively acknowledged her discord with her close friend Taylor Swift by not sending congratulations on her engagement.
The foreign media outlet Daily Mail reported on the 28th (local time) that Blake Lively did not send congratulations after the engagement announcement of Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce due to their long friendship ending earlier this year.
According to the report, a source told Daily Mail, "Blake did not contact (after the engagement announcement), and she will not in the future. This is not the time for that. What would it mean to contact now? It has no meaning. Blake needs to focus on much more important issues right now," referring to the "more important issues" as the legal dispute with actor and director Justin Baldoni.
The outlet also reported, "Blake no longer mentions Taylor at all and doesn't dwell on their ended friendship."
The source stated, "In the past, Blake would have talked about whether she would attend the engagement or wedding and how it would be. But now, there isjust silence. There is no consideration about whether Blake will attend the wedding. She will not attend, and she does not want to talk about it herself," adding that Blake is not fixated on Taylor's engagement and is focusing on her own life.
Earlier, Blake Lively became embroiled in conflict rumors while mentioning Taylor Swift as she engaged in legal battles with Justin Baldoni, the director and actor of the film "We Are Done."
Taylor Swift officially announced her engagement to football star Travis Kelce on her social media on the 26th, drawing significant attention by sharing several photos.
