A remake of the cheering song 'Que Sera, Sera' wishing for the Hanwha Eagles' victory in the Korean Series will be released.
'Que Sera, Sera,' which means 'What will be, will be' in Spanish, is a song that harmonizes heavy kicks and bass sounds with various synths, creating a powerful yet sophisticated sound. Kim Jong-cheon, known for the drama 'Chuno' OST's 'Brand,' has been credited as the composer.
Park Il-song, known as the original singer of the cheering song for Hanwha Eagles player Choi Jae-hoon, is a long-time fan of the Hanwha Eagles. His connection with the team reportedly began in 2017 with his meeting with cheerleading director Hong Chang-hwa.
Singer Park Il-song noted, "Although the Hanwha Eagles have had poor performances recently, they have shown positive changes, such as surpassing 1 million spectators at home games for the first time since their founding and breaking free from the humiliation of being a perpetual bottom team." He added that he remade 'Que Sera, Sera' after 9 years to convey a hopeful message that 'this year, they will definitely win.'
Meanwhile, 'Que Sera, Sera' is set to be released at noon on the 29th on various music streaming sites.
