As the comments made by KBS announcer Kim Jin-woong continue to spark controversy, past predictions by Jun Hyun-moo and Park Myung-soo are being reexamined.
Earlier, on the broadcast on the 24th, Eom Ji-in named Do Kyung-wan as the male junior who is "the best at getting married." He praised, "His wife Jang Yoon-jeong is diligently supportive while she tours the country, and even after marriage, he continues his broadcasting activities steadily. They sing together and share the role of MC, maintaining a good marriage.
However, Kim Jin-woong remarked, "I don't think I can live like senior Do Kyung-wan. It could truly be disrespectful to senior, but I cannot live as someone else's 'sub.'" He expressed that Do Kyung-wan's dedication and support for his wife and family was referred to as 'sub.' Eom Ji-in was surprised, asking, "Why is Do Kyung-wan a sub?" Kim Jin-woong clarified, "I apologize if this is disrespectful, but living that way is not easy for me."
This statement caused a significant uproar, and ultimately, Jang Yoon-jeong expressed her discomfort on her personal social media, stating, "There is no sub among family, even without familiarity." Kim Jin-woong also publicly apologized via social media, saying, "I am sorry for causing concern for seniors Do Kyung-wan and Jang Yoon-jeong due to my reckless comments on the broadcast. I also apologize to viewers and fans."
In the meantime, a broadcast from KBS 2TV's 'Boss's ears are donkeys' from July last year is being recalled. During that broadcast, the '2024 Paris Olympics' pre-preparation meeting of the KBS announcer department was revealed. Announcer Eom Ji-in served as the Head of Team, and senior broadcasters, including Lee Jae-hong, the head of the announcer department, were present. Even MC Jun Hyun-moo, who watched it on VCR, became quite uneasy, indicating it was an important event within the announcer department.
However, junior announcer Kim Jin-woong appeared indifferent despite being 15 minutes late. His colleagues seemed more anxious. The situation back then is now being recalled as if Jun Hyun-moo and Park Myung-soo had 'predicted' the future of Kim Jin-woong.
