Disney+'s original series 'Polaris' has released a character video indicating the birth of an appealing character.
'Polaris,' which depicts the story of 'Moon Joo' (Jeon Ji-hyun), who has built an international reputation as a UN ambassador while pursuing the truth behind the attack on a presidential candidate, has released a character video featuring subtle currents blending espionage and romance between Moon Joo and San-ho (Gang Dong-won), the nationality-unknown special agent who must protect her.
The released character video begins with Moon Joo's voice saying, 'I had a dream. That woman was dying,' immediately capturing attention. While serving as a UN ambassador and building strong trust and an international reputation on the world stage, Moon Joo decides to run for election to reveal the truth behind the attack on the presidential candidate. San-ho's line, 'I watched that woman. She is a woman who doesn't know she is in danger,' raises expectations about the narrative that will unfold between the two.
'The only key in my hand is Mr. Baiksan,' Moon Joo's confident voice states, 'I want to open it once. I wonder what door this leads to.' Amid the threats surrounding her, San-ho's determination to protect Moon Joo stimulates curiosity about how their relationship will evolve within the espionage romance genre.
Meanwhile, San-ho's character video opens with his first line and a passage consisting of 'I had a dream. In the dream, I was a woman,' along with a scene where he watches her from afar, adding to the mystery of his identity.
Known as the ace of a global mercenary company, San-ho, whose true identity remains unknown, is requested by a mysterious figure to protect Moon Joo. He decides to protect her as she stands precariously on the edge of a cliff. Even in response to Moon Joo's words that she can't trust him, he says, 'I don't care. I will just do my job,' as he lowers his guard, which both excites viewers and leaves them confused about his true intentions. Amid ongoing threats to their lives from terrorism, the dangerous chemistry of Moon Joo and San-ho, who are moving forward together toward the great truth hidden behind the attack, heightens expectations from audiences worldwide.
With an unparalleled cast, a well-made production team, and an unpredictable story that exceeds imagination, Disney+'s original series 'Polaris' is drawing attention as the best global project not to be missed in 2025. It will be available only on Disney+, with three episodes released on Sept. 10 (Wed), followed by two episodes every week starting Sept. 17 (Wed), totaling nine episodes.
