The group IVE has kicked off their popularity with the new song 'XOXZ.'
IVE (Ahn Yujin, Gaeul, Rei, Jang Won-young, Liz, Lee Seo) is receiving a warm response after releasing the music video for the title track 'XOXZ' from their fourth mini album 'IVE SECRET' on the 25th.
'XOXZ' is a track that expressively interprets IVE's unique new term, meaning 'I love you, good night. And let's meet in our dreams.' The music video invites viewers into a secret dream world created 'in my own way' and showcases IVE's vibrant expressions of a world depicted 'in my own style.'
The music video for 'XOXZ' maintained the top spot on YouTube's trending music videos in Korea for three consecutive days immediately after its release. It also recorded first place in YouTube's daily trending music videos (as of Aug. 26), Genie music video daily charts (from Aug. 25 to 26), and Vibe music video Top 50 (from Aug. 26 to 27), proving its immense popularity. Additionally, it topped the overall chart on QQ Music, China's largest music platform, and ranked fourth in Japan's daily trending music videos (as of Aug. 26), continuing its success overseas.
The performance on the music charts is equally impressive. 'XOXZ' rose to first place on Melon's HOT100 (within 30 days of release) and Vibe's domestic rising charts immediately after its release. It also achieved second place in Bugs' real-time and daily charts and fourth place on Melon's HOT100 (within 100 days of release), establishing itself at the top of the major domestic music charts and launching a full-fledged chart run.
The fourth mini album 'IVE SECRET' reveals a side that showcases hidden depths and a reversal of attitude behind confidence.
