Netflix series 'Genie, Make A Wish' stars Kim Woo-bin and Suzy as they embark on a life-threatening romance.
'Genie, Make A Wish,' set to be released on Oct. 3 (Friday) ahead of the Chuseok holiday, features a genie (played by Kim Woo-bin) awakened after a millennium of career disruption who meets an emotionally detached human named Ga-young (played by Suzy). Anticipation is building as to what astonishing narrative will unfold from the precarious gamble between the clueless genie and the emotionless Ga-young. Following the fantasy-like reunion of Kim Woo-bin and Suzy, interest is also drawn to the 'wish fulfillment' lineup completing the unique worldview, including Ahn Eun-jin, Noh Sang-hyun, Go Gyu-pil, and Lee Joo-young.
Meanwhile, the teaser poster released that day captures the mysterious relationship between the genie and Ga-young, who hold each other's fate in their hands, sparking curiosity. A genie appearing on the golden waves of the desert is seen targeting the neck of its new master, Ga-young. The genie, insisting 'I'll grant your wish, hurry up, wish now,' follows Ga-young closely, but she, who has no need for wishes, thrusts various weapons at the genie saying, 'For my first wish, could you please die first?' However, the genie must lead Ga-young to corruption through wishes. It raises the question of whether the satanic genie can penetrate the impenetrable walls of an emotionless Ga-young to fulfill a wish.
