Vocal group Gavy NJ is making a comeback as its fifth generation.
Gavy NJ's fifth generation, consisting of all-new female vocalists such as Riel, Ruan, Yejan, and Nayé, will release their debut album on Sept. 10 at 6 p.m.
Prior to this, Gavy NJ's fifth generation revealed group and individual profile pictures through their official social media. The four members caught attention with their pure visuals, showcasing a fresh look by matching white tops with denim pants.
Since their debut in November 2005, Gavy NJ has established themselves as a leading female R&B ballad vocal group in Korea, leaving behind numerous hits, including 'Happiness,' 'Love Story,' 'Sunflower,' and 'She is Crying.'
Gavy NJ's fifth generation inherits the name 'Gavy NJ' while reinterpreting the existing musical heritage to build their own identity. They are expected to present a new sound where the emotions of the 2000s harmonize with modern production. Notably, member Riel, who holds Burmese nationality, made a mark by participating in the SBS audition program 'Universe Ticket' before her official debut.
As a group that aims for vocal-centered music and competes purely through their singing, Gavy NJ's fifth generation is currently drawing attention from listeners by sequentially releasing cover videos, as well as short sketches featuring the members' times as trainees on their official social media.
Gavy NJ's fifth generation's debut album will be released on Sept. 10 at 6 p.m. across various music streaming sites.
