Singer and actor Yoon San-ha (ASTRO) conveyed his heartfelt thoughts on the conclusion of 'My Girlfriend is the Man.'
Yoon San-ha is currently playing the role of 'Park Yoon-jae,' a notorious romantic who is confused due to his girlfriend suddenly becoming a man, in the KBS 2TV drama 'My Girlfriend is the Man,' which is set to air its final episode today (28th) and is in the midst of delicately portraying emotions at the center of the drama.
Through his agency Fantagio, Yoon San-ha said, "As the conclusion approaches, I already feel a great sense of regret and emptiness. Since it was a time where I could learn and grow a lot through 'My Girlfriend is the Man' and the character 'Park Yoon-jae,' I think it will remain in my memory for a long time."
He continued, "It was a happy time to meet a friend named 'Yoon-jae' and spend time with the viewers every week. I want to express my gratitude to everyone who has supported us until the end and hope you continue to be with us until the last moment."
Yoon San-ha is a character who experiences great confusion due to his girlfriend Ji-eun (played by Arin) suddenly changing genders, expressing complex emotions intricately woven between Ji-eun and Ji-hoon (played by Yoo Jung-hoo), thus adding vitality to the drama. Notably, his character's high synchronization, as if he stepped out of a webtoon, and the chemistry that transcends gender sparked viewers' curiosity each episode, raising the immersion to its peak.
Despite it being his first lead role on a terrestrial broadcast, Yoon San-ha showcased detailed emotional acting, proving his broadened acting spectrum, and expectations are building on what works and characters he will present to the audience in the future.
