The group UNIS continues its global expansion with their Japanese digital single.
UNIS (Hyeonju, Nana, Gehlee, Kotoko, Bang Yunha, Elisia, OYuna, Lim Seowon) will release their first Japanese digital single 'Moshi Moshi♡' on Sept. 12.
'Moshi Moshi♡' is the first original Japanese song that UNIS presents after their debut. Previously, UNIS raised local fans' expectations by directly announcing the digital single release at the '2025 UNIS FANCON ASIA TOUR IN JAPAN.'
UNIS is showing remarkable popularity not only in Korea but also in Japan. Recently, their collaboration song 'Shaking My Head' with Japanese artist noa has received a lot of attention. Given that the song has performed well on various global charts, including Japan, there is much anticipation for what they will show through this digital single.
'Moshi Moshi♡' is a song that cutely expresses the excited feelings of falling in love, containing the meaning of wanting to convey 'the voice of the heart.' It features a lively pop sound and a catchy chorus with 'Moshi Moshi.'
The new song was created in collaboration with HoneyWorks, a representative creator unit from Japan. They are well-known domestically for creating 'Sorry, I'm Cute,' which sparked a global challenge craze. Through their first collaboration with HoneyWorks, UNIS is expected to showcase their unique bright and refreshing charm even more vividly.
In addition, they shared another delightful piece of news. UNIS was selected as the Female Idol of the Year at the '2025 Brand of the Year Awards.' They have proven the strong support of their global fandom by winning the rookie award at last year's 'Brand of the Year Awards,' securing the trophy for two consecutive years.
UNIS's first Japanese digital single 'Moshi Moshi♡' will be released on Sept. 12 through various online music sites. An English version will also be unveiled on Sept. 15.
