Actor Kim Dan will appear in the upcoming 'Men of the Harem'.
According to OSEN's coverage on the 28th, Kim Dan was cast in the new drama 'Men of the Harem' (written by Hwang Jin-young, directed by Lee Eung-bok) and recently decided to participate.
'Men of the Harem' is a romance fantasy that tells the story of Empress Ratil of the Tarium Empire, who brings in male concubines to protect the empire, based on the web novel of the same name. Suzy will portray Empress Ratil, and Kim Dan will take on one of the roles as a concubine brought in by Ratil.
The direction will be handled by director Lee Eung-bok, known for directing 'Descendants of the Sun', 'Goblin', 'Mr. Sunshine', and 'Sweet Home'. The script is written by Hwang Jin-young, the writer from the drama 'Lovers', and produced by Studio Dragon. 'Men of the Harem' is expected to begin filming early next year after completing the casting.
Kim Dan is a rookie who debuted this year through the SBS drama 'The Winning Try' and currently plays the role of Moon Woong, capturing viewers' attention at a glance.
In particular, she is enjoying fervent popularity as she showcases a subtle love triangle with Kim Yo-han and Park Jeong-yeon. With her decision to participate in the upcoming 'Men of the Harem', the focus is on her future activities as an actress.
