Lee Jung Jin from 'The Groom Training' showcased his sincerity about marriage while doing a 'newlywed house (?) tour' with Jung Joon Ha.
In the 178th episode of Channel A's 'Modern Man Life - The Groom Training' aired on the 27th, Lee Jung Jin met with Jung Joon Ha to share his dreams about a newlywed house while looking for a place to move. Additionally, Jang Woo Hyuk confessed to Oh Chae Yi during their third meeting, saying, "I want to seriously date."
Lee Jung Jin met with his 'close friend' Jung Joon Ha and shared his changed thoughts about houses. He said, "I didn't feel much value in a house before because I was alone. I just thought it was enough if I was comfortable. But now I think it would be nice to have a child," expressing his desire to look for a house considering a newlywed home. Jung Joon Ha remarked, "It's amazing that you've decided to get married. Just a few years ago, when I asked about your marriage intentions, you would say, 'not yet...'" He then teased, "Are you looking for a house without anyone yet? It seems like someone is in the picture?" Lee Jung Jin responded with a meaningful smile, "That could be possible."
A moment later, Jung Joon Ha introduced a real estate agent he knew, and Lee Jung Jin specifically mentioned, "I used to want to have kids, so I thought about dwellings since I'm worried about noise. The school district seems important, and I think it would be nice to have at least 3 rooms." In response, the real estate agent showed him a villa in Seorae Village, Bangbae-dong. Lee Jung Jin looked inside the house and said, "I would use this room as a child's room, and put toys here," talking incessantly about children. At that, Lee Da Hae jokingly asked, "Are you having a baby next month?" to which Lee Jung Jin replied, "It wouldn't be a bad thing if I had a child, would it?" making everyone burst into laughter.
Next, Lee Jung Jin went to see a triple duplex house in Cheongdam-dong. Amid a striking old-fashioned fireplace, Jang Woo Hyuk happily exclaimed, "I think I used to live there! That was the H.O.T. lodging!" Lee Jung Jin expressed satisfaction with the house structure having many rooms, saying, "If someone I'm sharing a room with can't sleep because of me, then I have to move my room," already considering his future wife. At this, 'principal' Lee Seung Cheol praised Lee Jung Jin, noting, "The word consideration has been coming up a lot since a while ago~"
In a warm atmosphere, Jung Joon Ha noted, "I think seeing a harmonious family with children will motivate you," and showed Lee Jung Jin his acquaintance's home. Lee Jung Jin felt envious of the scene where a father and two sons shared the same hobby. After finishing the house tour, he moved to the bar run by Jung Joon Ha. Here, Jung Joon Ha asked, "When was your last relationship?" to which Lee Jung Jin replied, "It's been about a year," and asserted, "I'm not the type to fall in love at first sight." He further shared, "I'm the type who falls hard later, so I don't put in much effort at first." Jung Joon Ha advised, "I usually make a big effort even if the person I'm interested in doesn't like me," to which Lee Jung Jin responded, "Honestly, not many people dislike me, even without making an effort," leaving Jung Joon Ha a bit bitter. However, Jung Joon Ha encouraged, "It's amazing that you're in 'The Groom Training' and I feel like you've changed a lot. I have a feeling you'll meet a wise person," which made Lee Jung Jin smile.
Following Lee Jung Jin, Jang Woo Hyuk's day on his third date with Oh Chae Yi was revealed. Jang Woo Hyuk decided to meet Oh Chae Yi and her nephew at a kids' cafe. He called Moon Hee Jun, a dad of two kids from H.O.T., to ask how to get close to children. Moon Hee Jun advised, "Kids love to play physically. It can be taxing both physically and mentally, but you shouldn't show that. Don't think of it as just playing with them, but as having fun with them. For Oh Chae Yi, it might be a test to see if I can become this kind of dad later, so score high."
With the support of Moon Hee Jun, Jang Woo Hyuk met Oh Chae Yi and her nephew at the kids' cafe with high energy. Initially, the '3-year-old boy' nephew showed no interest in Jang Woo Hyuk, but soon became fond of him as Jang Woo Hyuk played with him enthusiastically. After a while, Jang Woo Hyuk ran out of steam, prompting Lee Seung Cheol to emphasize, "You should get married soon and have kids." Meanwhile, Oh Chae Yi brought out home-packed lunches she prepared for Jang Woo Hyuk and her nephew.
Jang Woo Hyuk exclaimed, "The quality is no joke!" while giving a 'thumbs up' and fed the mini kimbap and sandwiches to his nephew, teaching him how to call him "uncle~." The nephew adorably echoed, "uncle~," and Oh Chae Yi burst into laughter, saying, "Why does he listen so well?" Jang Woo Hyuk, watching this with satisfaction in the studio, boasted, "That day, my nephew said 'uncle' at least 100 times. They've even told me that he still calls for 'uncle' like that." Then, Oh Chae Yi's sister arrived, and Jang Woo Hyuk had a surprise meeting with his potential sister-in-law.
After the 'nephew's exit,' the two relaxed at a pub. Jang Woo Hyuk asked, "Did your sister's couple give you any advice about marriage?" Oh Chae Yi replied, "My sister says I should meet a kind man, and my brother-in-law says 'if anyone shows up, bring them along.'" Jang Woo Hyuk responded, "Ah, so I need to be vetted. That's a bit scary" while also asking, "Have they ever talked about me?" Oh Chae Yi candidly revealed, "For now, my sister sees you positively, but my brother-in-law is still..."
Jang Woo Hyuk remembered that his brother-in-law is a dentist and expressed his willingness, saying, "I need to get an implant~." Oh Chae Yi smiled and said, "We've seen each other three times now, and I think we've gotten much closer. I've seen a new side of you." Jang Woo Hyuk replied, "Seeing you with your nephew makes you look like a mother with her son, and honestly, I've started to like you a bit." He then directly confessed, "Although it's a short time, I've thought a lot; do you have any serious thoughts about wanting to meet with me in the future?" All eyes are on how Oh Chae Yi will respond.
