Actress Choi Min-soo's wife, Kang Ju-eun, revealed her parents' home in Canada.

On this day, Kang Ju-eun visited her family home in Toronto, Canada. The production team that visited Kang Ju-eun's neighborhood exclaimed, "Wow, it's nice here..." and immediately recognized her house upon seeing the well-maintained garden. The production team, reunited with Kang Ju-eun, said, "It's so far. It took 13 hours" and added, "How did Min-soo sunbae come back and forth every week? It's unbelievable to see in person."
In response, Kang Ju-eun stated, "You guys have direct flights, right? 13 hours. But Yuseong's dad had to take a flight for 17 hours back in the day. There were layovers. Yet he still came alone while working. It's amazing to think about that journey. I hear that I'm totally infatuated with him now."
Upon entering the house, the production team was surprised, saying, "The living room is so beautiful. It's unbelievable." Kang Ju-eun asked, "Did you see it in the video?" and the production team responded, "The feeling is different. It was really just a part of it. As soon as you walk in, there are stairs," admiring the opulent interior. Kang Ju-eun noted, "This house is also old. It's 30 years old."
Later, various parts of the house were revealed. Kang Ju-eun said, "This is our living room. The ceiling is quite high. There is a balcony here, which is called the 'Juliet balcony.' It feels like Juliet is up top calling to Romeo in 'Romeo and Juliet.'" She added, "This clock belonged to my grandfather, whom we love dearly. It chimes every hour. That sound has always been familiar in my mind. We designed the fireplace like this. The heating comes from gas at the back. My mother loves small decorations and antiques."
Moving to the dining room next to the living room, she said, "My mom loves setting up the dining table. She would set it up when we had guests over and cook a lot. She always sets it differently every two weeks," revealing a glass cabinet filled with fine china.
She continued, "This is called the serving room. It's designed for ease when guests come, so it can be opened and closed easily. Usually, homes like this have a serving room. We prepare food here and bring it out. We prepare in the kitchen and keep things on standby here," adding, "This is the laundry room. We'll do laundry here. This was originally called the 'mud room.' We used to wear boots and do things in the garden here. It's where we go back and forth to the garden."
After introducing the kitchen, Kang Ju-eun moved to the family room. The production team asked, "Is that living room for guests?" and Kang Ju-eun responded, "That's for meeting guests, and this is where the family stays." The production team was intrigued, asking, "Is that usual in Canada?" Kang Ju-eun confirmed, "Yes. There's a formal living room for greetings and a separate one for family. This table is an antique made from materials used in an old factory. It's furniture we like with this theme."
The production team commented, "It feels like a museum. There's so much to see," and Kang Ju-eun remarked, "My parents received awards for the garden. They take great pride in it." She continued, "They planted everything here since it was tiny. It started as small trees that grew. We barbecue and eat here as a family, and my parents really love flowers in these baskets," revealing their beautiful garden.
Next, she said, "Here is the gazebo. The ceiling is quite high. It's a space where we sit, talk, and have a cup of tea together. In Canada, it's quite common to have these in gardens. There are companies that only build these. In older homes, my father built one. He also made a wooden house with a big tree inside."
Next, she introduced the second floor with a small living room and bedrooms. Kang Ju-eun said, "When you go up the stairs, there's a chandelier that is incredibly beautiful. My mom and I chose it together," adding, "This is a seating area. It's decorated in pink. This was my eldest son's room. But since he doesn't use it, we had separate rooms whenever we came here. This was Yuseong's room, and the restroom connects the two sons' rooms. This is the youngest's room with some of Yujin's photos."
Additionally, she mentioned, "This is called a linen closet. It's like a pantry where we organize blankets and towels. Such a space should be there by default. But since it's not, we stack everything like a mountain, which helps in organizing. When my parents came, they made sure to install extra doors. The height of the doors in the house is higher than usual," adding, "This is Yuseong's dad's and my room. Here's the closet and restroom arranged like this. We have many memories of being here since the children were very young."
Right after this, Kang Ju-eun moved to the master bedroom, attracting attention with the restroom that had a sofa. She stated, "After showering, you sit here to apply what you need to. So this is always a place to relax. When the kids were young, they had fun playing with bubbles here, and I would dry them off afterward."
Lastly, she headed to the basement. Kang Ju-eun explained, "I moved the study here. My parents' furniture is antique Danish, which was trendy back then. It's quite expensive nowadays. It's really precious furniture. This is from around the '68s, along with that chair and old furnishings. So it's very rare furniture. This is the dining table. Yuseong used this space while attending university," and she added, "My father exercises here. This is a restroom, which isn't that important, but there's a bathroom and sauna room in the basement. You can have a sauna here."
