TWICE is achieving career highs on the Billboard 'Hot 100' chart in the U.S., flourishing on the global stage.
Billboard officially announced on the 26th (local time) via its website that TWICE's 'Strategy' ranked 57th and 'TAKEDOWN (JEONGYEON, JIHYO, CHAEYOUNG)' ranked 53rd on the main 'Hot 100' chart for the issue dated August 30. The two tracks have continued to rise in the rankings for five consecutive weeks since entering the 'Hot 100' chart, breaking TWICE's own records and reaffirming their solid status as a 'global top girl group.'
Additionally, they set new records on major global music platform charts. 'Strategy' and 'TAKEDOWN (JEONGYEON, JIHYO, CHAEYOUNG)' ranked 68th and 51st, respectively, on Apple Music's U.S. daily top 100 for the issue dated August 24. On the global chart, they recorded 42nd and 35th place. On the same day, 'Strategy' ranked 29th and 'TAKEDOWN (JEONGYEON, JIHYO, CHAEYOUNG)' 20th on Spotify's U.S. chart, and on the UK Official Chart, recognized as one of the top three music charts in the world, 'Strategy' and 'TAKEDOWN (JEONGYEON, JIHYO, CHAEYOUNG)' placed 35th and 31st, respectively, on the official singles chart dated August 22.
At midnight on the 27th, they released their sixth Japanese studio album, 'ENEMY,' driving their fierce global momentum. The new album 'ENEMY' is their first regular album released locally in about a year since 'DIVE,' the fifth regular album, released in July 2024. Jihyo directed the overall album, including visual concept, track listings, and music video, adding a special touch. The title track of the same name delivers the message, 'No matter how many times I fall, I will rise again. Ultimately, the wall I must overcome is myself.' The director's cut of the 'ENEMY' music video, released simultaneously with the formal release of their sixth Japanese studio album, enhances the viewing experience and attracts fan interest.
As they accumulate numerous achievements and enjoy soaring worldwide popularity, they recently won the 'Most Influential Global Group' award at the 2025 TIMA (TMELive International Music Awards), a representative international music awards ceremony in the Chinese-speaking region. The members commented, "Thank you so much. Above all, we could receive this award because our fans have consistently supported and stood by us. TWICE is approaching its 10th anniversary, and it seems like the best gift for all the members who have worked hard together," expressing their gratitude.
As TWICE continues to show an upward trajectory over the past decade since their debut, the attention of K-pop fans worldwide is focused on their ongoing boundless activities.
