The movie 'Pretty Crazy' is spreading the charm of K-movies.
On the 27th, the team behind the film 'Pretty Crazy' (directed by Lee Sang-geun, provided/distributed by CJ ENM, produced by Oyu Nae Gang) announced its overseas release plans.
According to them, 'Pretty Crazy' is also showing strong performance in overseas sales. It confirmed releases throughout August, starting from Indonesia on the 20th and Singapore on the 21st, with Taiwan set to follow on the 29th. Additionally, from September, it is expected to be released in major Asian countries including Thailand, Cambodia, Hong Kong, and Mongolia.
In particular, for the release in Vietnam on September 5, a famous Vietnamese actor was cast as the dubbing voice to enhance localization efforts. With recent collaborations such as Korean film remakes and advances by Korean directors, the popularity of the Vietnamese dubbed version of 'Pretty Crazy' is gaining attention. Meanwhile, not only the countries that have confirmed release dates, but also Japan and South American countries are expected to follow suit.
'Pretty Crazy' is a devil-possessed comedy depicting the struggles of a young unemployed man, Gil-gu (An Bo-hyun), who becomes entangled in a bizarre part-time job watching over Seon-ji (Im Yoon-a), who awakens as a devil every dawn, and is currently receiving rave reviews in theaters nationwide.
