"How precious the small moments of consideration and love we give to each other are"
Man-na Youth Choir (conductor The Pact) will hold its 3rd regular concert on Sept. 3 at 7:30 p.m. at the Seongnam Atrium Grand Theater. The Man-na Youth Choir prepared this concert to embrace the hearts of our neighbors, who are living their own lives, and exhausted workers, delivering hope and comfort through music.
The 3rd regular concert will be conducted by The Pact under the theme "About love". This program consists of a total of 13 songs, which will sing about the traces of love that we have forgotten due to being too familiar, through the pure voices of children. Special guests include soprano Park Jae-eun, a professor at Ewha Womans University Department of Vocal Music, and tenor Yoon Jeong-soo, a professor at the School of International Studies, Chugye University for the Arts. Various instrumental configurations, including string ensemble members Yoo Hye-won, Cha Sae-ssak, and Kwon Na-hye, along with band members Kim Seong-min on bass and Kim Young-man on drums, will convey the diverse meanings of love in a three-dimensional way.
Conductor The Pact noted, "We discover various forms of love as we live. Love can be found in friends, family, and everything around us. However, I have come to think that we often miss these forms of love under the pretext of being busy. Therefore, this regular concert has been prepared with songs that allow us to think about the love we have missed once again. We want to share how precious the moments of friendship with friends, the warmth of family, and the small moments of consideration and love we give to each other are."
He added, "This concert will not only be a simple music performance but also a time to reflect on how much we need each other through the theme of 'love' and how great the love that God has given us is as a blessing." He expressed his hope that through the resonating melodies and lyrics, everyone can rediscover the meaning of love in their hearts and be a warm comfort and hope to each other.
Man-na Youth Choir is a boys and girls choir affiliated with Man-na Church that praises God's beauty with the voices given to us according to God's word, "You will be my witnesses to the ends of the earth (Acts 1:8)."
