Member Nam Seong-mo of the group 82Major (82MAJOR) is embarking on a new musical challenge with the release of his first solo song.
82Major (Nam Seong-mo, Park Seok-jun, Yoon Ye-chan, Jo Seong-il, Hwang Seong-bin, Kim Do-gyun) released a teaser image for Nam Seong-mo's first digital single 'Pinterest Luv' on their official SNS on the 27th.
Notably, the phrase revealed along with Nam Seong-mo's teaser image features a collaboration artist represented only by the 'moon' emoji, arousing fan speculation. This raises curiosity about his solo song, which will be unveiled at noon on the 29th.
This solo song is part of a project in which 82Major members sequentially release music ahead of a new album. This project is characterized by the members directly participating in song selection and lyrics writing, collaborating with musicians to present their individual musical colors.
Such attempts are rare for rookie idols, offering fans a different emotion from group activities. Previously, Hwang Seong-bin and Kim Do-gyun were the first to take part in this project, and Nam Seong-mo continues this lineage by showcasing his presence as a solo artist.
82Major has recently demonstrated the true value of a 'performance-oriented idol' while continuing its global activities. They held a solo concert just three months after their debut, selling out all tickets for their fourth solo concert.
