(Following interview③) Actress Lee Ha-nee shared her unique chemistry with Jin Sun-kyu.
Recently, Lee Ha-nee expressed her feelings about working with Jin Sun-kyu during a video roundtable interview for the Netflix series "Aema."
Lee Ha-nee noted, "It was wonderful without needing to say much with Actor Jin Sun-kyu. Just being cast felt like 30% of my life's happiness was filled."
She continued, "You will know if you watch the work, but Actor Jin Sun-kyu said, 'Hi-ran, let's do one more,' while making such rude remarks, but he was so excellent that I felt like I was in the front row of the audience rather than behind the camera. I couldn't help but applaud. It was the first time applause broke out after saying 'cut' while acting."
Additionally, the two filmed overnight for a scene where they engage in a physical fight in a swimming pool. Lee Ha-nee stated, "We filmed the scene where we fight while holding guns, hitting each other, and rolling around for about three days overnight. At that time, Actor Sun-kyu caught the flu."
She recalled, "It was really cold, but even when Actor Jin Sun-kyu was in a fevered state, he gave his best effort. I felt too bad that I couldn't take it easy. I even tried to sprinkle some snow, and it actually snowed on Christmas morning. It was cold, but the filming turned out beautifully."
Lee Ha-nee expressed her overwhelming gratitude by saying, "Every time I threw the drill, it didn't always get a reaction. With acting, when I'm with Actor Sun-kyu, the drill always shakes, and it feels like the water balloon is being filled. I really felt how grateful it is to be able to share the stage with such a good actor."
Meanwhile, the Netflix series "Aema" depicts the story of top star Hi-ran (played by Lee Ha-nee) and rookie actress Joo-ae (played by Bang Hyo-rin), who bravely face the dark reality hidden behind the glamorous spotlight during the birth of erotic films that swept Korea in the 1980s.
