My Troublesome Star, Uhm Jung-hwa and Song Seung-heon's comeback show has officially started.
In episode 4 of the Genie TV original drama My Troublesome Star (directed by Choi Young-hoon and written by Park Ji-ha), which aired on the 26th, the 'bittersweet' comeback story of Bong Cheong-ja (played by Uhm Jung-hwa), who has finished adapting to reality, was depicted. The return as supporting actress 'Bong Cheong-ja' rather than top star 'Lim Se-ra' was challenging from the start. The 'black knight' ending of Dok Go-cheol (played by Song Seung-heon), who rescues Bong Cheong-ja at the filming location, heightened heart rates and raised expectations for the upcoming comeback show.
As a result, viewer reactions were explosive. The ratings for episode 4 aired on ENA recorded a nationwide high of 3.1% and 2.8% in the metropolitan area, maintaining an upward trend.

Declaring her comeback project, Bong Cheong-ja set out to find her old friend Min Tae-sook (played by Cha Chung-hwa). However, Min Tae-sook could hardly believe the drastically changed appearance of Bong Cheong-ja. Just when she was about to turn back, Bong Cheong-ja proved their past with something only the two of them knew, and they achieved a heartwarming reunion after 25 years. With the help of Min Tae-sook and Gu Nam-joo (played by Hyun Bong-sik), Bong Cheong-ja entered the entertainment industry and was overwhelmed with joy just to take a step onto her dream stage. Even in a short supporting role, her captivating acting stirred the set, and the comeback show seemed to proceed smoothly as she caught the director's eye and even had her lines added.
However, a crisis soon emerged. Just as Bong Cheong-ja showed her dedication, a seasoned actor began to torment her. While everyone was exhausted from the ongoing coercion by the seasoned actor, Dok Go-cheol made his appearance. He took Bong Cheong-ja away in front of everyone, and Ko Hee-young's cynical look added tension, raising expectations for the developments that followed.

Unbeknownst to her, Dok Go-cheol was formerly 'Detective 0728,' while Bong Cheong-ja smiled, and there was a blend of affection in Dok Go-cheol's smile when he found out she was Lim Se-ra. Above all, Bong Cheong-ja's appearance as she seemed to recall bits of the day she disappeared increased curiosity.
