Director Yeon Sang-ho and actor Park Jung-min showcased a duet photoshoot ahead of the release of their new film 'Face.'
On the 26th, the team behind the film 'Face' (screenplay/direction Yeon Sang-ho, provided/produced Wowpoint, co-provided/distributed Plus M Entertainment) unveiled the magazine duet photoshoot featuring director Yeon Sang-ho and Park Jung-min.
'Face' is a film that portrays the story of 'Im Young-kyu,' who has lost his sight but has become a master in the engraving field, and his son 'Im Dong-hwan', who uncovers the mystery surrounding his mother's death that has been buried for 40 years. It is a film that director Yeon Sang-ho has always wanted to make and recalls sharp early works. It is the third time Yeon Sang-ho and actor Park Jung-min have collaborated, following 'Psychokinesis' and 'Hell,' and the photoshoot was unveiled.
The photoshoot revealed in the September issue of the fashion magazine Esquire heightens expectations for the synergy the two will showcase in 'Face.' The duet photoshoot, which exudes a special aura, captivates attention with the unique chemistry between director Yeon Sang-ho, who first contacted Park Jung-min when deciding to adapt 'Face' into a film, and Park Jung-min, who eagerly suggested taking on two roles when offered the part.
Director Yeon Sang-ho, who has presented works that sharply penetrate human nature, plans to release various episodes related to the film through an interview along with the photoshoot expressed in light and shadow. Meanwhile, Park Jung-min, who always showcases new faces, will conduct an interview full of special affection for the film 'Face' alongside a photoshoot that conveys both smartness and dandy style, further raising the expectations of prospective audiences. The interview during the photoshoot of director Yeon Sang-ho and Park Jung-min will be released on YouTube at 5 p.m. on the upcoming Wednesday, the 27th.
'Face' is scheduled to be released in theaters on September 11.
