Actor Ko Hyun-jung recalled a touching moment while sharing a special connection with Kang Min-kyung.
In a YouTube variety show 'Salon Drip 2' (EP.105) released on the 26th, Ko Hyun-jung mentioned her relationship with singer Kang Min-kyung. She said, "I got close with Uhm Jung-hwa and Kang Min-kyung through Jung Jae-hyung," and added, "I don't usually meet up, but I feel really happy when I'm with them. However, I prefer to meet occasionally," she smiled.
When asked if she was influenced by Kang Min-kyung in her YouTube activities, Ko Hyun-jung replied, "At first, she just advised me to use Instagram. Kang Min-kyung is a quick-witted and lively friend, very sharp and clever," adding, "Since she's not the type to start something and then quit halfway, I actually worried that I might struggle."
She also recalled the moment when Kang Min-kyung surprised her with flowers during the YouTube filming, getting teary-eyed. Ko noted, "I was in a situation where it was just the PD and me during the shoot, and I felt anxious about what kind of impact it would have once it aired. At a moment when I suddenly felt extremely lonely, Kang Min-kyung came to surprise me with flowers, and I burst into tears," adding, "Even now, that scene feels real to me."
"At that time, I was also in a period of thinking, 'Should I stop doing YouTube even now?' but thanks to her support, I was able to endure it," she continued. "I also urge fans not to get tired or anxious. Just like she said, I try to do my activities consistently, even if only occasionally. Thanks to that, I realized what I really want."
Ko Hyun-jung is reflecting on herself once more amid connections and support while continuing her new challenges.
