CORTIS is gaining significant attention with its unique album composition, characteristic of a 'young creator crew.'
CORTIS (Martin, James, Joo-hoon, Sung-hyun, Gun-ho) posted eight videos on the team's official YouTube channel at 6 p.m. on the 25th, featuring hints about the physical version of their debut album, 'COLOR OUTSIDE THE LINES,' which will be officially released on September 8.
The most talked-about item is the Singing Bowl version. It includes a singing bowl and a CD, along with various components such as photo cards and photo card sleeves. The singing bowl is a tool known as 'the singing vessel.' When struck or rubbed with a mallet, it produces a beautiful sound. This is an MD format album that stems from the lifestyle of the 'young creator crew' who co-create music, choreography, and videos. The idea came from the members frequently using the singing bowl when they need to focus or take a break while working. The bottom is engraved with the CORTIS team logo, adding to its uniqueness.
The debut album will also be released as an LP (Vinyl), maximizing its collectible value. The LP release for a rookie group, especially for their first album, is quite unusual. The color of the LP was chosen directly by the members. In addition, various versions of the album's release, including a standard version made from previously disclosed concept photos and a still undisclosed Weverse version, have been anticipated, piquing fans' curiosity.
'COLOR OUTSIDE THE LINES' is an album that represents the first steps of the five members in search of what they truly desire, rather than just a key handed to them. It contains a total of five tracks, including the title track 'What You Want,' released as a digital single on the 18th, and the intro track 'GO!', which was first unveiled in a music video on the 11th.
