DJ DOC Kim Chang-yeol (Kim Chang-ryeol) shed tears as he recalled the times when his children were born.
A preview for next week was broadcast at the end of Channel A's 'Close Friends Documentary - Four-Person Table' aired on the 25th.
In this preview, DJ DOC Kim Chang-yeol grants R.ef Seong Dae-hyun and vocal trainer Park Seon-joo as guests. Seong Dae-hyun joked while looking at the food prepared by Kim Chang-yeol, "So this is really Chang-yeol-ish, right?"
In response, Kim Chang-yeol said, "That's right," and Seong Dae-hyun joked, "The kimchi is totally Chang-yeol-ish." Then Kim Chang-yeol snapped, "You and I are this XX," eliciting laughter.
He also mentioned his connection with Park Seon-joo, saying, "Before my debut, she was my vocal trainer. I thought I was her first student, but Kim Bum-soo was right there." Hearing this, Park Seon-joo remarked, "He sure doesn't listen to me at all," and Kim Chang-yeol defended himself, saying, "I was scolding too much, so from a learning perspective..." To this, Park Seon-joo revealed, "He used to tell me, 'You do that kind of R&B yourself.'"
In particular, while they were talking, Kim Chang-yeol's son, the university student Kim Joo-hwan, made a surprise appearance, catching attention. Upon seeing his tall figure, Park Kyung-rim exclaimed, "He's so handsome!"
Kim Chang-yeol reflected, "To be honest, when Joo-hwan was first born, I was unprepared. It was tough economically, and I was mentally completely drained," adding, "Seeing Joo-hwan and Joo-a gave me the thought of how I wish I had gathered my thoughts back then."
In response, Kim Joo-hwan cautiously shared his thoughts, saying, "Even when it's tough, we're family. I'm not just a good dad..." and Kim Chang-yeol ultimately shed tears.
Meanwhile, Kim Chang-yeol married a third-generation Taiwanese Chinese wife in 2003 and has one son and one daughter.
