Former announcer Do Kyung-wan has expressed his position regarding KBS announcer Kim Jin-woong's "sub remarks."
Do Kyung-wan shared on his social media on the 26th, "Our couple may appear tilted to someone. However, we respect and support each other and live firmly relying on one another."
He stated, "I received an apology message from my junior Kim Jin-woong," adding, "I felt upset that this incident may have hurt our family and those who love us, but I hope no one else is hurt because of this."
He added, "We will greet everyone again with bright appearances."
Earlier, announcer Kim Jin-woong made remarks during the KBS 2TV entertainment program "Boss's ears are like donkey's ears" aired on the 24th, depicting a scene meeting a marriage information company. He said, "I can't live like senior Do Kyung-wan," and stated, "Although it may be rude to say this to a senior, I cannot live as someone's sub," sparking controversy.
Afterwards, Jang Yoon-jung expressed her discomfort by posting on her social media, "We have no acquaintance... Heh heh... Remarks or actions that do not make the other party smile cannot be disguised as jokes or pranks. There is no 'sub' among family."
