Comedian Kim Byung-man has completed his marriage registration with his remarried wife, thus becoming a legally recognized couple.
On the 25th, the family of Kim Byung-man was featured on TV Chosun's "Chosun's Romantic Guy," sharing the news of his remarriage. During the broadcast, Kim Byung-man introduced his remarried wife for the first time.
His wife caught attention with her distinct features and refined beauty, and Kim Byung-man explained, "Many people may think this is a new connection, but that's not the case. We first met in May 2006 and started dating, but we went our separate ways at the end of 2007. After a long time, we met again."
His wife also recalled, "We initially met through an introduction. I had heard he was a comedian, but I didn't know because I don't watch TV. He was proactive, calling me every day and sharing every little detail about his life. I had a feeling back then that 'this person seems like he will do well.'" However, during the time when Kim Byung-man was gaining attention as a 'master,' the two naturally drifted apart due to his busy schedule. After several years, they reconnected with his mother's encouragement and eventually became a couple again.
Kim Byung-man expressed his heartfelt feelings, saying, "This person is the only connection I have in the world. She is not just my wife but a presence like home. My wife is the space where I can feel most comfortable."
Afterward, the couple headed to Jeju City Hall to complete their marriage registration. As they signed the documents, marking the moment they became a legally recognized couple, Kim Byung-man said he had been waiting for this moment for several years and expressed his emotions, while his wife remarked, "I feel light as if I've finished my homework. It feels like we have finally become a real couple."
After completing their marriage registration, Kim Byung-man shared his thoughts, saying, "I want to officially greet my family at my parents' graves," and he also remarked about the honeymoon, saying, "I thought I wouldn't feel excited, but I am excited."
Kim Byung-man was previously married in 2010 and has a son, and with this remarriage, he is opening a second chapter in his life.
