'HomeCam' Yoon Se-a confessed that the filming location for the horror movie was genuinely scary.
On the afternoon of the 26th, a press screening for the film 'HomeCam' took place at CGV Yongsan I-Park Mall in Seoul. Attendees included lead actors Yoon Se-a, Yoon Byeol-ha, Kwon Hyuk, and director Oh Se-ho.
'HomeCam' (directed by Oh Se-ho, distributed by Studio Santa Claus Entertainment Co., Ltd., produced by M Pictures Co., Ltd., co-produced by A Cut Co., Ltd.) portrays a 24-hour close-up horror story in which an insurance investigator, Seong-hee (played by Yoon Se-a), becomes trapped in fear after witnessing a mysterious presence through a home camera she installed while investigating a series of mysterious deaths.
Yoon Se-a, who has showcased her unique presence in hit works like 'SKY Castle' and the 'Secret Forest' series, leads the film as the terrified insurance investigator Seong-hee. The role of Seong-hee's sick daughter, Jiwoo, is played by child actress Yoon Byeol-ha, who demonstrates mother-daughter chemistry with Yoon Se-a. The suspicious neighbor, Soorim, who hovers around Seong-hee's house, is portrayed by Kwon Hyuk, who has gained attention in projects such as 'Sorry Not Sorry,' 'Love Law in the Big City,' 'Tyrant,' and 'Royal Loader,' serving as a mysterious character that enhances the genre's appeal.
Regarding her reason for participating, Yoon Se-a said, "The script was so interesting, and not just the supernatural phenomena, but my portrayal as Seong-hee was well depicted." She noted, "Meeting with the director was so exciting that we shared ideas and even moved around together with motions, it sparked a great fire of enthusiasm and appreciation for the project."
Although Yoon Se-a said this isn't her first horror film, she remarked, "It was so scary that I genuinely screamed. There were so many props and setups that warranted such a reaction." She added with a smile, "I was so startled that we had to take a break during filming, but we filmed joyfully."
Meanwhile, 'HomeCam' is set to be released on Sept. 10.
