The main poster and trailer for the series You and Everything Else, featuring actress Kim Goeun and Ji Juhyun, have been unveiled.
On the 26th, the production team of the Netflix original series You and Everything Else revealed the main poster and trailer.
You and Everything Else is a story that confronts all the moments of two friends, Eunjoong (Kim Goeun) and Sangyeon (Ji Juhyun), who love and admire each other the most, while also feeling jealousy and hatred, intertwined throughout their lives. The released main poster captures the subtle expressions of Eunjoong (Kim Goeun) and Sangyeon (Ji Juhyun) looking at each other, drawing attention.
Their expressions convey the complex emotions between the two and spark curiosity about the events that will unfold before Eunjoong and Sangyeon, who have left indelible marks on each other's lives. The poster even includes their childhood images from their teenage years when they first met, raising interest in the deep narrative and connection that began when they were 11 years old.
The main trailer, also released, begins with the scene of Eunjoong and Sangyeon meeting each other after years at a college club gathering when they are 21 years old. Eunjoong's line, 'We shouldn't have met again that day,' contrasts sharply with the bright smiles of the two, raising curiosity about what caused their reunion to become tainted with regret.
Additionally, the childhood scenes of the two, intertwined with phrases such as 'Sangyeon looked perfect,' and 'Everyone liked Eunjoong,' hint at the intricate emotions that have passed between Eunjoong and Sangyeon for a long time. From becoming unmatched friends in their teenage years to relying on each other more than anyone through their twenties, the trailer includes Sangyeon mentioning 'my friend Ryu Eunjoong, who has had the greatest impact on my life,' during an award speech, and Eunjoong's cold words, 'I don't agree with the success of Cheon Sangyeon,' evoking interest in their story that transcends the simple term 'friend.'
The subsequent scenes depicting Eunjoong and Sangyeon exchanging sharp words suggest an escalating misunderstanding and deepening conflict between the two. As seen in Sangyeon's line, 'Eunjoong, I have something to ask you,' in her 40s, Sangyeon seeks Eunjoong again to make a last request that she cannot expect Eunjoong to understand or accept, increasing curiosity about how their panorama-like journey spanning decades will conclude.
With Kim Goeun and Ji Juhyun's heartfelt performances depicting the diverse emotional chronicle exchanged between Eunjoong and Sangyeon over the years, and a storyline that will make everyone reflect on their memories with friends, You and Everything Else is set to premiere exclusively on Netflix on Friday, September 12.
