JYP Entertainment's boy group KickFlip has proven its presence as a 'K-pop super rookie' at the 2025 TIMA.
KickFlip appeared on August 23 at the 2025 TIMA (TMELive International Music Awards, hereafter 2025 TIMA) held at the Galaxy Arena in Macao, expanding its activities. The 2025 TIMA is a large international music awards ceremony organized by Tencent Music Entertainment Group, a leading corporation in China's music industry. The rookie KickFlip made headlines by being named in the lineup just seven months after its debut.
Members Gye-hun, Amaru, Dong-hwa, Joo-wang, Min-je, K-Ju, and Dong-hyun delivered explosive performances that thrilled the audience at the 2025 TIMA. Dong-hwa's solo dance marked the start of the KickFlip stage, instantly lifting the atmosphere. The seven members showcased dynamic choreography and solid live vocals, demonstrating their capabilities as 'next-generation stage artists.' The audience erupted in cheers for "KickFlip!" while enthusiastically participating in the official cheering methods. Notably, an explosive reaction came during the catchy tracks 'Yeah, alright' from their debut album and the title track 'FREEZE' from their mini album.

This summer, along with the 2025 TIMA, they have been showing remarkable prominence on worldwide stages such as Lollapalooza Chicago and SUMMER SONIC 2025 in Japan. They were also recognized for their achievements by being named the recipient of the 'K World Dream Super Rookie Award' at the 2025 K WORLD DREAM AWARDS held on the 21st at the Jamsil Indoor Gymnasium in Seoul.
