The 'MZ want-to-be icon' IVE has announced a splendid comeback by counting down to the release of their new album together with global fans on the global K-culture fan platform Berriz.
IVE (Ahn Yujin, Gaeul, Rei, Jang Wonyoung, Liz, and Lee Seo) spent a special time with fans by conducting 'IVE SECRET LIVE' one hour before the release of their mini album 'IVE SECRET' on the 25th (Monday) at 5 p.m. During the live session, the six IVE members personally introduced a total of six songs, including the newly unveiled title track 'XOXZ', and provided rich communication through various segments, such as recent updates and album unboxing. They particularly garnered laughter and empathy with witty and sincere answers to pre-submitted questions from fans around the world.
As the live session began, IVE greeted fans with bright faces, saying, 'Finally, the album will be released in one hour,' and 'I've revealed many spoilers about the album, but I wonder if you noticed,' unable to hide their excitement. They described the album as having a secretive atmosphere, stating, 'If I had to express this album in one word, it would be "secret."' They also explained that the title track 'XOXZ' is a term unique to IVE meaning 'I love you, good night. And I'll see you in my dreams', and noted that it is a song that embodies the album's purpose and concept. Regarding the choreography of 'XOXZ', they conveyed their excitement, saying, 'It's hip and cool, I was so happy from the moment I learned the dance.'
The members then introduced their 'favorite songs' from the six tracks included in the album, opened the album package themselves, and shared episodes from the music video shooting site, showing their affection for the album being released after seven months and received enthusiastic responses from global fans.
The 'IVE SECRET concerns' corner, where they provided advice on fans' worries, also drew attention. In line with the album's concept of coexistence of contrasting emotions, they consulted fans' concerns in two versions, 'good and evil.' The members who responded to various daily dilemmas of fans, such as students and office workers, expressed their pleasure in being able to hear the sincere concerns of the fans, sharing a deep connection with them. Lastly, during the 'Berriz delivers on our behalf' segment, they cheerfully decorated gifts for fans within a set time, creating smiles. The polaroid pictures adorned with the members' favorite colors and stickers will be given to fans selected through a live participation certification event conducted on Berriz's official social media X.
This live session, which communicated closely with fans through various segments, lasted about 40 minutes with over 20,000 dives participating, and received more than 1.3 million hearts from global fans. IVE's 'IVE SECRET' live video, which promises more active communication on Berriz in the future, can be viewed again through the replay service on Berriz.
