On the night of the 24th, actress Lee Ha-nee gave birth to her second daughter.
Her agency, Team Hope, said on the 25th, "Actress Lee Ha-nee gave birth to a daughter the previous night," adding, "Both the mother and the child are currently healthy and recovering peacefully under the care and love of their family."
She further noted, "I deeply thank everyone who has prayed and sent their support during this time," and requested, "Please continue to watch over actress Lee Ha-nee and her family with warm blessings and love."
Lee Ha-nee, who married a non-celebrity in 2021 and had her first daughter in June of the following year, has become a mother of two after three years.
Debuting in 2006 at the 50th Miss Korea pageant, she has been recognized for her acting in various works, including the film "Extreme Job," and has actively participated in projects until right before giving birth.
On the 18th, she even attended the production presentation of the Netflix series "Aema" in person, despite being heavily pregnant.
She said, "The second child was said to come earlier than expected, so my condition was unpredictable," but added, "However, it seems that my affection for 'Aema' is somewhat special. I wanted to explain about the work 'Aema' and also greet everyone."
The series "Aema," starring Lee Ha-nee, was released on Netflix on the 22nd.
