My Kid's Private Life actor Lee Jong-hyuk's son Jun-soo candidly shared his feelings about the bias of 'dad's connections'.
The episode of ENA's Sunday variety show 'My Kid's Private Life' (hereafter 'My Life'), which aired on the afternoon of 24th, depicted the first brother trip in life of 'Tak Jun brothers,' Tak Soo and Jun-soo.
Jun-soo honestly opened up when asked if he feels stress or worries about being the son of an actor. He said, "At first, I was concerned about the 'audition connections' and stuff, but now, I live with the mindset that it doesn't matter; even if I deny it, those who don't believe won't believe. Just think for yourselves."
Older brother Tak Soo also revealed his unspoken struggles. He shared, "When I was 20, I sent a video through a school opportunity to audition, but when people recognized me on-site, their gazes changed."
He continued, "It felt like I was wrapped in information, feeling like I was under a bubble," and candidly said, "Having a dad who is an actor wasn't entirely good for me." Upon hearing this, Jang Yoon-jung empathized, saying, "It must have been very upsetting."
Meanwhile, Jun-soo hit a home run with his straightforward remark about his dad Lee Jong-hyuk's acting skills, creating laughter. He said, "Honestly, I've never thought my dad was a great actor." He added, "Dad says, 'If you can't act better than me, don't act,' but I think I could do much better," further adding to the laughter.
