The group AB6IX is releasing their 10th EP 'UPSIDE DOWN' today (25th).
AB6IX (Jeon Woong, Kim Dong Hyun, Park Woo Jin, Lee Dae Hwi)'s 10th EP 'UPSIDE DOWN' contains their clear determination to break the existing framework and turn the world upside down with their own new perspective and music. The title track 'STUPID' is a pop dance song that expresses the inner cry blooming from neglected wounds with a lively rock sound, with member Lee Dae Hwi participating in the lyrics and composition, while Park Woo Jin contributed to the lyrics to enhance its completeness.
In addition, this new AB6IX album includes a total of six songs in a variety of genres such as hip-hop, rock, pop, and fan songs, including 'Square Up', 'Friday Trouble', 'A Million Dreams', 'You Are in My Plans', and a CD-only track 'Beautiful'.
Having returned as a more solid and mature 'artist' after their sixth anniversary, AB6IX shared their stories about this album 'UPSIDE DOWN' through a Q&A.

Q. Please share your comeback feelings.
Jeon Woong: It's already our tenth EP, and I feel like time flies so fast. As it is the tenth one, I will show you a more grown-up AB6IX!
Kim Dong Hyun: Since it's been a while since our comeback, I'm a bit nervous, but I'm excited to present a great stage and songs to our fans!
Park Woo Jin: It's been a long time since our last comeback, and I want to say thank you to our fans for waiting. I will show you a great side as a thank you for your patience.
Lee Dae Hwi: Finally, we're making our comeback. I had planned to do it earlier, but I think it got delayed a bit as I was waiting for a better song. I'm very grateful and excited to finally meet our fans again.
Q. What kind of song is the title track 'STUPID'?
Lee Dae Hwi: It's a dance song mixed with a band sound that goes well with a fresh summer night. Since the lyrics are relatable, I hope the listeners find comfort.
Q. Can you explain the highlights of the performance for 'STUPID'?
Park Woo Jin: I believe the point of this performance, which has a popular feel, is that everyone can enjoy it comfortably and happily. Through this stage, I think you'll be able to see the members' various sides and charms!
Q. 'STUPID' carries a message of empathy and comfort for those who are hurt. Do you have your own tips for overcoming wounds?
Kim Dong Hyun: If you've made a mistake, acknowledge it and let it go. If you're in an unfair situation, it's about clearly addressing it and overcoming it.
Q. You mentioned that all members participated directly in the lyrics and composition of the title track and included songs, as well as in the album production process to enhance its completeness. What aspect did you pay the most attention to in this album?
Jeon Woong: Since 'STUPID' is a refreshing and exciting song, I tried to make the choreography even more exciting and playful!
Kim Dong Hyun: We recorded each song with more affection than ever while preparing the stage.
Park Woo Jin: As always, we did our best for those who listen to us, and I worked hard to express what I have in my heart in a more emotional way.
Lee Dae Hwi: The aspect I focused on the most in the album is, of course, the music. Since everything starts from music, I strongly believed that the music should be good. These songs all have various charms, and I am confident in them.
Q. Is there a particular song you feel attached to from the 10th EP 'UPSIDE DOWN', and what are its highlights?
Jeon Woong: It's track 5, 'You Are in My Plans', which I wrote and composed. I've worked on many songs until now, but after finishing this one, I remember thinking, 'I made a good one!' and I felt proud of myself. I hope it gets a lot of love as it's a song I'm very attached to.
Lee Dae Hwi: Of course, I have affection for the title track, but track 6, 'Beautiful', seems to be a song that will remain in the memories of our fans and us for a long time, so I feel the most attached to it. I hope that when we look back years later, it will be a song that reminds us of this activity.
Q. After being active in various fields, you are returning to group activities after about 10 months. Were there any special episodes or memorable moments during the album preparation process?
Kim Dong Hyun: It was interesting to try a new method that was different from previous music video shoots, and we filmed it in a fun way.
Park Woo Jin: There weren't any big episodes, but it felt more familiar and comfortable than solo activities, so I think things naturally flowed well just as we always did.
Q. What aspects of AB6IX would you like to show through this album?
Jeon Woong: We've handled various concepts, but I want to enjoy the stage in a way that people can say, 'AB6IX is refreshing, indeed.'
