The group BOYNEXTDOOR is continuing its reign at the top of the Japan Oricon chart.
According to the Oricon chart released on the 24th, BOYNEXTDOOR (Seong-ho, Ryu, Myung-jae-hyun, Tae-san, Lee-han, Un-hak)'s second Japanese single "BOYLIFE" ranked first in the "Daily Single Ranking" as of the 23rd. After achieving number one for two consecutive days (from the 19th to the 20th), they reclaimed the top position on the 22nd, signaling a strong long-term performance.
"Count To Love"'s music video is also popular. From the day it was released until the 24th, it appeared in the "Trending Music Videos" on YouTube in both Korea and Japan, and it secured the top spot on Japan iTunes "Top Video" (as of Aug. 18) and the daily music video top 100 on major music site Line Music (as of Aug. 19). The music video features the six members as hosts of a fictional dating program, showcasing their cute efforts to connect a couple, generating laughter. "BOYLIFE" is an album that expresses the love and dashing charm of youth, showcasing an unrestrained confidence. It unfolds emotions that everyone has experienced at least once, using BOYNEXTDOOR's unique narrative style. The album contains a total of four tracks, including the Japanese original title track "Count To Love," as well as the Japanese versions of their previously released songs in Korea: "I Feel Good," "Nice Guy," and "Parental Guidance Not Recommended."
