Actor Jin Tae-hyun shared his recent situation after undergoing thyroid cancer surgery, revealing a warm daily life with his adopted daughter.
On the 24th, Jin Tae-hyun posted a photo taken with his wife Park Si-eun on his social media, stating, "My wife and I spend our summers and winters in Daegwallyeong and Jeju. The bonus of traveling is that we can spend time with our adopted daughter, who is training as a marathon runner for the Gyeonggi Provincial Government."
He continued, "It's already been almost a year since we became a family, eating together and taking care of each other. This summer, we spent time together in Hoenggye again, following last winter's training camp," adding, "I'm grateful to be able to give someone attention and share love. I'm also glad to see her trying to grow into a good adult and improving in her running skills."
Regarding his adopted daughter Han Ji-hye, he expressed, "I want to walk the tough path of a marathon runner together until retirement. Of course, that's when we both do our best," and stated, "Elite athletes have nothing but running in their lives, so regardless of their results, they can't leave running behind. If we cheer them on, maybe they can run a little more excitedly."
Jin Tae-hyun married actress Park Si-eun in 2015, and the couple has consistently expanded their family through volunteer work and adoption. In 2022, they shared their sadness after losing their second child, but they have since adopted two daughters and continued their unwavering love. Recently, he received a diagnosis of thyroid cancer, underwent surgery, and is in recovery.
He mentioned about his current health status, saying, "I am still recovering after the surgery," and expressed, "I hope to regain my health completely soon, love my wife more, work hard on filming, and return to running in the four-minute range."
