The new group CORTIS from Big Hit is gearing up for a rich array of events ahead of the release of their debut album on the 8th of next month.
CORTIS (Martin, James, Juhoon, Seonghyun, Gunho) posted the promotional calendar for their debut album 'COLOR OUTSIDE THE LINES' on Big Hit Music and the team's official social media on the 24th at 5 p.m.
The most eye-catching aspect is the documentary 'What We Want', which covers the making of the debut album. You can check out the vivid behind-the-scenes work of the 'young creator crew' that co-creates music, choreography, and videos. The trailer will be released on the 29th at 8 p.m., and all four episodes will be released on September 1 at 8 p.m.
Ahead of this, videos showcasing the team's creative capabilities are waiting to go live on the 26th and 27th. On the 26th at 9 p.m., the members will present a self-produced music video for the title track 'What You Want', freely planned, filmed, and edited during their trainee days. Following that, on the 27th at 9 p.m., a commentary video for the official music video of the title track will be opened. You will hear detailed production stories from CORTIS, who are credited as 'co-directors'.
New photos have also been prepared. The third concept photo featuring the members with their treasured items was released on the 25th at 10 a.m. Leader Martin was photographed with a guitar he taught himself to play. James, who participated in ice hockey during school, used a skate as a prop, while Juhoon brought a soccer ball with the names of his friends written on it. Seonghyun posed with his favorite blueberries, and Gunho held a cherished stuffed toy. Despite their different personalities and backgrounds, the boys harmoniously come together. The fourth concept photo will be released on the 28th at 10 a.m.
Two days before the album's release, on September 6 at 6 p.m., a mood sampler for the tracks 'FaSHioN', 'JoyRide', and 'Lullaby' will provide hints about the songs. The next day at 6 p.m., a teaser for the music video of 'FaSHioN', which will be the follow-up song, will be unveiled. On the album release day, September 8 at 6 p.m., you will be able to find the physical album and all tracks online, along with the main music video for 'FaSHioN'.
CORTIS will hold a 'CORTIS The 1st EP [COLOR OUTSIDE THE LINES] RELEASE PARTY' on September 8 at 8 p.m. at Korea University Hwajeong Gymnasium in Anamdong, Seongbuk-gu, Seoul, to meet with fans.
