In 'My Ugly Duckling', Yoon Si-yoon showed pride in his mother along with a proud anecdote as Kim Tak-goo in Mongolia.
The broadcast of the SBS entertainment program 'My Ugly Duckling' on the 24th depicted the second day of actor Yoon Si-yoon's trip to Mongolia with his mother.
During his visit to a bakery in Mongolia, Yoon Si-yoon realized the popularity of the drama 'Baker King Kim Tak-goo'. He said that they made red bean bread after watching the drama in Mongolia and could not hide his surprise at the fact that scenes from the drama were actually being sold.
However, locals did not immediately recognize Yoon Si-yoon as Kim Tak-goo. In response, his mother pointed to her son and introduced him by saying, "Baker King Kim Tak-goo, I am his mother," and only then did the merchants recognize him with delight.
The broadcast also revealed that Yoon Si-yoon's mother had been anxious and timid about not being able to attend the university festival. Yoon Si-yoon's mother noted, "I have always had a regret about learning, so I started the studies that I had postponed," adding, "Going to school is so enjoyable." Currently, she is studying middle school courses at an adult school and recently scored perfect marks in 4 out of 6 subjects on her final exam, receiving 95 points in the remaining subject.
Yoon Si-yoon encouraged his mother by saying, "Don't say you're embarrassed," and he also bragged about her exam scores to his actor friends. He added, "My mom got 100 points. Let's promise to get perfect scores on the next exam too."
