The group Stray Kids is enjoying global popularity by achieving various remarkable results with their new album 'KARMA'.
Stray Kids made their first comeback of 2025 by releasing their 4th full album 'KARMA' and the title track 'CEREMONY' on the 22nd. The album achieved double million-selling in just one day, recording over 2 million sales based on the Hanteo Chart on the 22nd. Additionally, they dominated the weekly physical album chart of Hanteo Chart (Aug. 18-24, 2025) and the weekly retail album chart of Circle Chart (Aug. 17-23, 2025).
The album topped the worldwide and European iTunes album charts for three consecutive days from the 22nd to the 24th and secured the number one spot in several overseas regions' iTunes album charts, including Japan, France, and Australia. The title track 'CEREMONY' reached number one on the Bugs real-time chart and topped the iTunes song charts in countries such as Brazil and Thailand.
Recently, Stray Kids became the first 4th generation K-pop group to achieve 20 million followers on Spotify. Their new release 'KARMA' set a new record for the most streams on the first day of a K-pop group release in 2025, with over 18.26 million streams on the 22nd. This also surpassed their own record set by the 2023 3rd full album '★★★★★ (5-STAR)'. The title track 'CEREMONY' entered the Spotify Daily Top Song chart globally at number 27, and at number 49 in the U.S., marking its highest entry.
The music video for 'CEREMONY' reached number one in trending worldwide on the 22nd and maintained its top position for four consecutive days until the morning of the 25th, exceeding 20 million views on YouTube. They performed the title track 'CEREMONY' starting with KBS 2TV's 'Music Bank' on the 22nd, followed by MBC's 'Show! Music Core' on the 23rd and SBS's 'Inkigayo' on the 24th. Various attractions, including the 'sports' concept stage and outfits, choreography touched by the members, and a message celebrating their achievements through hard work, captivated the audience.
Stray Kids, who have re-validated their status as the ace of the global music league with their first regular album in over two years, will continue the momentum by releasing the remix digital single 'CEREMONY (Maximum Power Remixes)' at 1 p.m. today (midnight Eastern Time).
