SHINee member and solo artist Taemin proved his immense popularity in Hangzhou, China.
Taemin held the '2025 TAEMIN FANMEETING [CLASS-MATE] in HANGZHOU' on the 23rd in Hangzhou, China.
This performance held special significance as Taemin's first solo fan meeting in China, and under the title 'CLASS-MATE', it included various talks, games, and events that brought fans closer together, creating special memories.
Taemin kickstarted the event with a greeting he prepared in Chinese, energizing the venue. He continued with everyday talks using photos he unveiled for the first time and communicated with fans on diverse topics such as Hangzhou's food and attractions, and album behind-the-scenes. He showcased his quick thinking with rapid-fire questions and answers, reproduced iconic scenes from Korean dramas, and participated in various programs, including a segment where fans could learn some Chinese, enjoying a delightful time.
At the end of the performance, a gift-giving event through a lottery took place, and the venue was filled with emotion as videos prepared by fans and a sing-along event unfolded. Taemin noted, "Among the (event) videos you prepared, the line 'Just being by your side makes you my youth' resonated with me. Thank you so much. I want to see you more often," expressing his gratitude and sentiments toward the local fans.
This Hangzhou fan meeting added significance to Taemin's global journey. Celebrating the 11th anniversary of his solo debut, Taemin completed his first solo tour 'Ephemeral Gaze' across 20 countries and 29 cities from August last year to April this year, and he held a fan meeting in Seoul on the 16th and 17th. He will begin his arena tour in Japan '2025 TAEMIN ARENA TOUR Veil' starting in September, continuing to meet with global fans.
Meanwhile, Taemin's Japan arena tour will take place in five cities in Japan, starting at Kanagawa PIA Arena MM from September 13 to 15, followed by Saga from September 20 to 21, Shizuoka from October 4 to 5, Chiba from November 29 to 30, and Hyogo from December 24 to 25, totaling 11 performances.
