TOMORROW X TOGETHER has grandly opened the curtain on their fourth world tour. The performance, in line with the meaning of the tour title, 'Moving forward together toward the promised tomorrow,' touched the hearts of MOA (the fandom name) around the world. On the first day, they stirred significant attention by announcing their re-contracting with their agency, Big Hit Music.
TOMORROW X TOGETHER (Soobin, Yeonjun, Beomgyu, Taehyun, Hueningkai) held their fourth world tour, 'TOMORROW X TOGETHER WORLD TOUR,' at Seoul's Gocheok Sky Dome from the 22nd to the 23rd.
TOMORROW X TOGETHER arrived in a vehicle and passionately sang their first track, 'LO=LO♡ER.' They quickly ignited the enthusiasm of the audience by making eye contact with them. They continued to impress the crowd with a series of songs, including 'Wishlist,' 'You and I Found in the Sky at 5:53,' and 'Blue Orangeade.' In particular, when the intro of their recent track, 'Love Language,' played, loud cheers erupted from the audience as fans sang along, enjoying the stage.
TOMORROW X TOGETHER said, 'From now on, we will run without resting for the remaining time. We hope you will run with us.' They presented a succession of songs that encompass the group's journey, from their debut album 'The Dream Chapter: STAR' to their latest full album, 'The Dream Chapter: TOGETHER,' released in July. The dance break added to 'Growing Pain' gave the audience catharsis with its intense choreography, along with compelling expressions that heightened the song's immersion.
In particular, the member-specific solo stages from the regular 4th album were unveiled for the first time, attracting attention. Taehyun delivered a breathtaking performance of 'Bird of Night' with his delicate voice, leaving a deep impact, while Soobin showcased cute choreography in 'Sunday Driver.' Hueningkai performed a sensual act using a chair in 'Dance With You,' and Yeonjun radiated stylish charisma through 'Ghost Girl.' Beomgyu expressed his own emotions in 'Take My Half.' The fans responded by chanting the members' names in admiration of the diverse colors not seen in the group stage.
Towards the end of the concert, they brought their debut song 'CROWN' to the stage. The originally bright and cute track was arranged in a ballad version, creating a mature and emotional atmosphere. LED visuals featured images from their debut era, evoking nostalgia. Following their debut track, the latest song 'Beautiful Strangers' continued, and the composition, reminiscent of the narratives from the past seven years, moved the audience. Even after the encore performance concluded, cheers continued to erupt from the audience. Consequently, the five members returned to the stage to perform additional unexpected songs.
The overwhelming production added excitement to the performance. A massive LED tower and a dragon-shaped sculpture created a scene as if the set was collapsing. The expanse of blue forest that followed presented an enchanting experience. Furthermore, confetti infused with fragrance scattered in the audience, completing a unique performance that stimulated not only sight and sound but also smell. The harmony of the narrative about the five boys moving toward the promised tomorrow, immersive production, and overwhelming live performance fit the epithet 'stage teller' (a combination of stage and storyteller).
This concert gained additional significance in light of TOMORROW X TOGETHER's re-contracting news. On the first day of the performance, Soobin surprised everyone by announcing, 'All members have completed the re-contracting to keep our promise of going longer and further.' He continued, 'Thank you for being with us from our debut until today and through the moments telling the story of our another tomorrow. Thanks to all of you, love seems visible.'
They also noted, 'While our bodies were tired preparing for the performance, our hearts felt so good. We all thought we are running to perform. Thank you for visiting us at Gocheok Sky Dome in Seoul with an unchanged heart. We will return having grown even more through this world tour.'
Meanwhile, TOMORROW X TOGETHER will embark on a tour of seven U.S. cities, starting in San Jose on Sept. 9, then traveling to Los Angeles on the 12th, Dallas on the 16th, Rosemont on the 21st and 22nd, Atlanta on the 25th, Washington D.C. on the 28th, and Newark on Oct. 1-2. They will then continue their journey to three Japanese cities: Saitama on Nov. 15-16, Aichi on Dec. 6-7, and Fukuoka on Dec. 27-28.
