Guitarist Kim Do-kyun of the band Baekdusan revealed a shocking lifestyle habit. He surprised the public by disclosing on a broadcast that he has been eating three meals a day consisting of triangular gimbap for an astonishing 30 years.
On the 23rd broadcast of MBN's 'Sokpuli Show Dongchimi,' Kim Do-kyun attracted attention by starting his day at 3 p.m. His house was cluttered with dust, and a scene was revealed where he took out and ate triangular gimbap for his first meal.
Kim Do-kyun explained his unique eating habits, saying, "I started eating triangular gimbap when convenience stores began to appear, and it's already been 30 years. I also eat triangular gimbap before going to bed to reduce the burden."
As a result of calculations by the production team, assuming he eats three triangular gimbap a day for 300 days a year, he has consumed about 27,000 triangular gimbap so far.
In response, Kim Do-kyun laughed, saying, "I never get tired of it. The mystery of triangular gimbap." He added that the reason he insists on triangular gimbap over other kinds is that "it is easy and convenient to eat without a burden. Since I need to focus on music first, my meals have to be simple."
Kim Do-kyun enjoyed an Americano with six shots added and chocolate at a café, emphasizing, "For rockers, coffee and chocolate are essential." A scene was also revealed where he purchased a lunchbox and triangular gimbap at a convenience store, shocking viewers as it was revealed that his convenience store points totaled a whopping 1,030,000 won.
He confessed that the accumulated amount spent at the convenience store has surpassed 140 million won.
However, his lifestyle raised concerns. Worries emerged among fans due to his habit of smoking a pack a day and the potential health issues arising from nutritional imbalance.
Kim Do-kyun, a talented guitarist who also served as a judge on 'Project Runway Korea' and has been beloved for his unique variety character, is again drawing attention as his distinctive lifestyle habits are re-highlighted through this broadcast.
