Model and broadcaster Lee Hyun-i has announced the decision to forgo moving.
On the 23rd, Lee Hyun-i posted a video titled "Should we also move to Daechi? Lee Hyun-i, who has come to break the dilemma of moving for school districts" on her YouTube channel "Working Mom Lee Hyun-i."
In the video, Lee Hyun-i met with a real estate expert to air her concerns. She said, "Yun-seo will be a middle school student in two years already," adding, "This is not something to take lightly. Depending on the current address, the school placement will occur in the second semester of the 6th grade, so I have a lot of worries about whether to move or not."
Earlier, Lee Hyun-i had also expressed concerns about her eldest son's transition to middle school.
Lee Hyun-i remarked, "In any case, we need to carefully consider where to live," and asked the real estate expert, "Do we need to move for our child's school district?"
The real estate expert responded, "Anyone who asks this question 100% needs to move. If you already have an interest in the keyword school district and are curious about moving, then that interest does not disappear."
Lee Hyun-i noted, "Even if I try to make a quick sale, these days, the maximum loan is only 600 million won, so to buy a place mentioned as a school district, one needs to have 1.5 billion won in cash. When it comes to Daechi-dong, it is said that a person needs to have more than 2 billion won in cash," to which the real estate expert replied, "You need to spend a little more than 2 billion won."
In response, Lee Hyun-i stated, "I will not be moving."
