The group ILLIT proved their elevated status by lifting a trophy at a large-scale global music awards ceremony.
ILLIT (Yoona, Minju, Mocha, Wonhee, Iroha) received the 'Annual Overseas Popular Song' award for their debut song 'Magnetic' at the 'TIMA International Music Awards (TMElive International Music Awards, hereinafter referred to as 'TIMA')' held on the 23rd at the Galaxy Arena in Macau.
'Magnetic,' released last March, struck the global market and gained attention in China. The song topped the 'New Song Real-Time Chart' on QQ Music, China's largest music site, and ranked 1st on the 'New Song Daily Chart' and 2nd on the 'Hot Song Chart'. Additionally, its catchy melody and impactful choreography sparked a dance challenge craze, captivating the hearts of 1020 fans on Chinese short-form platforms.

On this day, ILLIT heated up the venue by presenting five songs beloved by global fans in succession. They showcased the title track 'Borrowed Cat (Do the Dance)' from their recently completed mini album 'bomb' and the performance of 'jellyous,' to which local fans responded with enthusiastic cheering. The five members then performed 'Night Picnic' and 'oops!', making eye contact with fans throughout the venue and raising the excitement. Finally, the cheers from the audience filled the performance hall throughout ILLIT's performance of 'Magnetic,' affirming the status of a global hit song.
