Singer Ailee's husband, Choi Si-hoon, confessed that he has been going through a tough time due to the rumors surrounding him.
In the episode of MBN 'Let's Go Go' Season 5 aired on the 23rd, Choi Si-hoon and Ailee were depicted unveiling their newlywed home for the first time.
On that day, Ailee and Choi Si-hoon introduced their luxurious interiors and shared stories while serving dishes to the members.
Earlier, Choi Si-hoon, who gained recognition after appearing on Netflix's 'Single's Inferno', dealt with rumors such as 'host bar origin rumors' and 'unemployed rumors' after the program.
He recalled at that time, saying, "It was really hard then. How I overcame it, I don't know. I spent a lot of time sitting alone in the corner of the underground parking lot. I even started smoking again then, which I had originally quit."
He continued, "It was hard to prove I didn't do what I didn't do. Since I was doing something alone, I didn't know how to cope, and that made things harder. That is what led me to distance myself from acting. I was hurt too much by the people in the world."
After marrying Ailee, he also got caught up in new rumors. Ailee said, "While we were on our honeymoon, strange rumors started circulating again. I was very stressed because of that. They said I was a representative managing women who do suggestive broadcasts. But at that time, we were together," she said.
Choi Si-hoon expressed his apologies to Ailee, saying, "Even when you stay still, there are many painful things in the entertainment industry. I feel sorry when difficult things happen because of my husband."
