Lady Jane and Lim Hyun-tae shared the reality of parenting twins.
On the 22nd, a video titled "When does parenting 40-day-old twins get easier? ㅠㅠ" was uploaded to Lady Jane's YouTube channel.
That day, Lady Jane and Lim Hyun-tae cared for their twin daughters over the weekend. Lim Hyun-tae said, "I tried to establish a routine from now on. The main purpose is to distinguish between day and night. I hope you can participate from today, dear. The schedule includes playtime, exercise, bath, massage, and tummy massage, all sorted by time." He continued, "By doing this, hopefully, they can sleep well at night," Lady Jane expressed her surprise, saying, "It's only been 40 days, and already?"
Afterward, the two began caring for the children according to the schedule. They woke up around 6 to 7 a.m., washed the kids, and did massages, and at 8 a.m., they had the first feeding. Afterward, as Lady Jane rushed out because of the crying, she said, "It feels like I only washed my hair after about 4 to 5 days." She revealed, "I heard the crying and couldn't stop to do anything before coming out." She added, "These days, it seems like Byeol has developed a clinginess. Whenever something happens, she keeps wanting to be held. But we did develop some habits, right? Even after that, it didn't change."
Lim Hyun-tae noted, "I agree that I should hold her a lot during this period," while Lady Jane explained, "Everyone says something different; if I hold her too much, she might get spoiled, and if I don't hold her and let her cry, it can harm her personality. Is it worse for her personality to worsen or her habits to become bad?" However, she said, "She's still a newborn," and Lim Hyun-tae nodded, saying, "We should hold her a lot. When else will we get to hold her?" Lady Jane agreed, saying, "That's true. They grow up quickly and get so heavy that you can't even hold them anymore."
Lady Jane commented about Byeol, saying, "She now weighs 3.7 kg. She has had a rapid growth spurt in just a month. It hasn't even been a month since we came out of the hospital, right? It feels like she's grown a lot in just 3 weeks." She lamented, "I feel like my arms are going to fall off." Afterward, the two laid the children down and had a meal, with Lady Jane stating, "I'm actually grateful that I can eat like this, like a person now." Lim Hyun-tae commented, "I thought the weekend wouldn't pass, but it felt like it went by in an instant," to which Lady Jane responded, "Time flew by. Already tomorrow is Monday, the day the auntie comes. I feel like Saturday morning was just a moment ago. Yesterday went by so fast. When you look after the baby, time just flies. We finish our meals and take care of the kids, and the whole day is gone," though she also expressed, "I understand that saying. It's so tough, but seeing the kids makes the happiness double."
After that, the two alternated between feeding and playing according to the schedule. They completed the last feeding after a bath at 6 p.m. and quickly returned to the room after putting the kids to bed by 8 p.m. Lady Jane expressed her joy, saying, "For now, it's a success," while Lim Hyun-tae proudly stated, "We established a system since before the 50th day." Lady Jane congratulated, "I don't know how well they'll sleep, but congratulations," and collapsed onto the bed the moment they finished with the childcare duties.
Meanwhile, Lady Jane and Lim Hyun-tae got married in July 2023 and welcomed their twin daughters, Woo-joo and Byeol, last month.
