All members of TOMORROW X TOGETHER continue their relationship with their agency, Big Hit Music.
On the 22nd, the label of HYBE Music Group, Big Hit Music, officially announced the re-contracting with TOMORROW X TOGETHER (Soobin, Yeonjun, Beomgyu, Taehyun, Huening Kai) through a notice posted on the global superfan platform Weverse. Big Hit Music stated, "We plan to provide full support for the members to carry out various activities. We will diligently serve as a strong supporter and partner to spread music and performances that encapsulate the group's narrative widely across the globe. We ask for your expectations for the shining tomorrow we will write together with TOMORROW X TOGETHER."
On the same day, TOMORROW X TOGETHER mentioned the re-contracting directly during their first performance of the fourth world tour 'TOMORROW X TOGETHER WORLD TOUR 'ACT: TOMORROW'' held at the Gocheok Sky Dome in Seoul.
Leader Soobin read a handwritten letter at the end of the concert, stating, "I've been looking forward to this moment since before we started the performance. I wondered how we could convey our sincerity." He continued, "In order to keep the promise we made to go longer and further, all members have completed the re-contracting as TOMORROW X TOGETHER. Thank you for being with us from our debut to today and to the moments telling of our other tomorrows."
TOMORROW X TOGETHER debuted in March 2019 with their first mini album 'Dream Chapter: STAR.' They have boasted a rich narrative with every album release and have built a solid identity with their unique visuals and performances.
They are also making their presence known on global stages. In April, they were invited as the first K-pop group to the 'AXE Ceremonia,' one of the major festivals in Latin America, and prior to that, they performed at the largest music festival in the U.S., 'Lollapalooza Chicago,' for two consecutive years (2022-2023). Notably, in 2023, they performed as headliners for the first time among K-pop groups.
The mini album 'Chapter of Name: TEMPTATION' released in 2023 topped the 'Billboard 200,' the main album chart in the U.S. At that time, this album set a remarkable record of staying on that chart for 19 consecutive weeks. The regular fourth album 'Chapter of Stars: TOGETHER,' released in July, also entered the 'Billboard 200' at No. 3 and has maintained its position on the chart for three weeks.
TOMORROW X TOGETHER, which shared the delightful news of all members re-contracting, will continue their world tour with the second performance in Seoul at Gocheok Sky Dome today (23rd). They will then head to seven cities in the U.S. and three cities in Japan, starting from San Jose on September 9.
Meanwhile, Big Hit Music, a label of HYBE, includes Lee Hyun, BTS, TOMORROW X TOGETHER, and the rookie group Cortis, which debuted on the 18th.
