On Aug. 22 at 8:30 p.m., KBS Joy's '20th Century Hit Song' episode 278 featured the theme 'Hit Songs with Unique Subtitles (Just the Title Isn't Enough),' spotlighting songs that caught attention with their unique subtitles during that time.
In 10th place was 'Habit (Subtitle: Bye Bye)' by Rollercoaster, a song about habits after a breakup. Lee Mi-joo recounted, 'I just sent a good morning text without thinking. But that friend said, 'What? Why are you acting like this? We broke up yesterday.' I thought we just had a fight, but it turned out we had broken up,' sharing a story about the difficulties caused by her habits.
'Angel's Jealousy (Subtitle: I Want Your Love)' by Scream took the 9th spot. Upon reading the lyrics, 'It seems I didn't love you, but I'm swayed by another woman. Why does my heart ache when I think about breaking up?' Kim Hee-cheol and Lee Mi-joo remarked, 'These lyrics are trash,' and 'This is so selfish,' showing a serious expression.
'Forever With You (Subtitle: Angel's Poem)' by Yangpa secured 8th place, while 'Sunflower (Subtitle: To Her..)' by Park Sang-min ranked 7th. Just like their subtitles, 'Forever With You' conveys comfort from an angel's perspective, while 'Sunflower' is based on Park Sang-min's true story, delivering encouragement to a lover. Notably, 'Sunflower' was revealed to be a song created after Park Sang-min learned that his ex-lover, who had broken up with him, was fighting cancer while wishing for her recovery.
Next, in 6th place was 'I Was Always Behind Her (Subtitle: Don't Be Afraid Me Angel)' by Choi Chang-min. Watching Choi Chang-min's performance, Lee Mi-joo expressed, 'He's really cool,' and 'DM me,' showing admiration.
In 5th place was 'Wine (Subtitle: 人)' by Kim Kyung-ho. Kim Hee-cheol remarked, 'This album is truly a masterpiece. It sold over 200,000 copies in a month,' explaining about the album that includes the song, while Lee Mi-joo added, 'Senior Kim Kyung-ho also said, 'I'm most pleased to have preserved my musical pride through this album.'
Despite the 1997 Asian financial crisis, 'T.O.P (Subtitle: Twinkling Of Paradise)' by Shinhwa recorded sales of 300,000 copies and secured Shinhwa their first No. 1 since their debut, taking 4th place.
Meanwhile, 'Remember (Subtitle: Her Eyelashes Are Long)' by DJ DOC, a song depicting memories with an ex-lover, was introduced in 3rd place. When Lee Mi-joo asked, 'If you were to title a song about an ex-lover, what would you name it?' Kim Hee-cheol replied, 'Her ankle was pretty.' When Kim Hee-cheol inquired about specifics of his ideal type, Lee Mi-joo said, 'I like it when a person has crow's feet when they smile,' playfully telling Kim Hee-cheol, who showed him his eye smiles, 'You're so ugly,' creating a lively atmosphere.
In 2nd place was 'Steal Away (Subtitle: The Protagonist)' by Park Ji-yoon. This song was explained as expressing what a cheating partner might say to a current lover. When Kim Hee-cheol asked, 'If you like a guy who has a girlfriend, what would you do?' Lee Mi-joo said, 'I would call him. 'I'm actually seeing someone. So, I think I would make you break up,' sharing a laugh.
The coveted 1st place went to Hyun Jin-young's 'Why Are You? (Subtitle: Hyun Jin-young Go Jin-young Go).' Kim Hee-cheol remarked, 'It's said that Jin-young hyung even bled from his nose while dancing boxing. During his activities, he was said to have really hit it hard while dancing with the dance team,' sharing anecdotes related to the stage.
