The group ILLIT has embraced two trophies at major domestic awards, recognizing their exceptional musical achievements and popularity.
ILLIT (Yoon-A, Minju, Mocha, Wonhee, Iroha) won the 'Main Award' at the '2025 K-WORLD DREAM AWARDS' held on 21st at the Jamsil Indoor Stadium in Songpa-gu, Seoul.
Additionally, the mini album 'bomb', released in June, had its title track 'Borrowed Cat (Do the Dance)' receive the 'K WORLD DREAM BEST MUSIC VIDEO AWARD', bringing the total to two trophies.
ILLIT said, "We are honored and grateful for receiving this awesome award. Thanks to our staff who are always supporting us and GLLIT (official fan club name), we could receive this award. We will work harder to show great music and performances in the future."
That day, ILLIT heated up the awards ceremony stage with their performance of 'jellyous'. The members showcased distinctive visuals with kitschy styling while also presenting a high-level performance that captured the attention. Each time their choreography matched the fast beat, cheers erupted from the audience.
Recently, after finishing the activities for their mini album 'bomb', ILLIT received great love from global fans. This album broke the initial sales figures (album sales in the first week after release) of its predecessor in both Korea and Japan, dominating the top ranks of major album charts. Particularly, with their entry into the U.S. 'Billboard 200', ILLIT achieved the remarkable feat of placing every album they released since their debut on this chart.
ILLIT will move their activities to Japan in September, continuing their rising momentum. They will launch their first Japanese single 'Toki Yo Tomare' (original title 時よ止まれ) on September 1 and commence full-scale local activities. On September 3-4, they will hold a fan concert '2025 ILLIT GLITTER DAY IN JAPAN' at Osaka Castle Hall, meeting with fans. Following that, they will participate in major Japanese fashion and music festivals including the '41st Mynavi Tokyo Girls Collection 2025 AUTUMN/WINTER' on September 6 and 'Rock in Japan Festival 2025' on September 14.
