'Documentary Three Days' captured a special journey in search of the promises made by youth 10 years ago.
The KBS2 broadcast of 'Documentary Three Days' on the 22nd conveyed emotional connections by revisiting university students who participated in the summer train travel program 'Tomorrow' in 2015.
It all started with a comment. In response to a post stating, 'I was a university student in 2015, but now I have become a graduate student,' the production team recalled the promise shared with two female students during the shoot 10 years ago. When the production team asked, 'What kind of journey do you think it would be if you looked back 10 years later?' one student said, 'It would be really nice to revisit the same course 10 years later,' and shared a look with her friend, and the two made a spontaneous promise to 'let's go on the same date.'
What was just a passing conversation, however, turned into reality 10 years later. The production team returned to the promised location, Andong Station, as preparations were made for a reunion held three years after the conclusion of 'Documentary Three Days.' The citizens also reminisced about the 'Andong Station' episode from 10 years ago, expressing their hopes for the promise to meet 10 years later to be kept, saying, 'Everyone has romance in their hearts, and that video touched upon it.'
The production team continued to wait ambiguously, not knowing names or contact details. A VJ who participated in the filming noted, 'We decided to go, but when I woke up, the views had surpassed a million, and the article was out. I was really surprised and embarrassed when a reporter called me,' sharing the mixed feelings of excitement and nervousness.
'Documentary Three Days' reunited after crossing 10 years. A promise that began as a coincidence transcended time and led to a fairy-tale-like reunion, leaving viewers with a touching resonance.
